What are the fees on my orders?

It is 100% free to sign up and display your products on Todelli. However, we do charge commission on sales made through the Todelli platform.

Commission

We deduct a 10% commission every time a product is purchased through the site. This covers the cost of running the site and allowing you, the maker to reach more customers every day. In fact, we reinvest part of the commission we earn back into producer promotion –– among others online and offline advertising.

A commission is only charged on the value of the product sold –– that is the total value of the item as set by you. We do not charge commission on shipping.

VAT

As a UK registered company, we are obliged to abide by the laws of England. Part of this is to pay VAT (value added tax) to the UK authorities. At the moment we are not charging VAT to you but as Todelli's commission is charged for a service provided to our sellers, we might be obliged to change this soon and charge 20% VAT on our commission to UK businesses and non-VAT registered members of the European Community. 

VAT is currently chargeable by Todelli in the following circumstances:

• You are UK registered company or self-employed individual
• You are a company in the EU (not UK) but not VAT registered
  
  

VAT is not currently chargeable by Todelli to you in the following circumstances

• You are a company registered in the EU (not UK) and VAT registered and have provided us with a valid VAT (or equivalent) registration number together with sufficient other evidence that is acceptable to HM Revenue & Customs and as required under EU law and regulation

*Please note: The VAT charge is a legal requirement which goes directly to the tax office, it is not an additional charge to raise Todelli's profits.
